The Watertaxi is the newest way of transportation in the Rotterdam area. The river runs through the city and the complete harbour area and makes it ideal for personal transport. A large number of stops have been created to make it possible to reach a large part of the Rotterdam area.
We did the complete technical design based on a styling design by Mr. Groenendijk.
The maximum speed of the Watertaxi’s is 37 knots. In normal service the speed is 30 knots. The Watertaxi’s are built in fibreglass reinforced polyester.
